A new Manual for Streets

CIHT has confirmed that they are developing a new Manual for Streets, bringing together and updating the original MfS as well as MfS2. The new document is expected to be published in January 2022. The original MfS was a step forward in integrating street design and housing layouts but has now been joined by more recent publications such as the MHCLG National Design Guide, so it will be interesting to see how much further the new MfS takes the collaboration between highway design, urban design and architecture.  Manual for Streets | CIHT
