Planning permission for Grundon Waste Management

We were pleased to hear that Grundon Waste Management secured planning permission yesterday for their new vehicle depot at Woodlands Lodge in Bishop's Stortford. Entran previously secured a new access for this site under an application to demolish the existing B&B and build a new hotel; however, the needs of Grundon's fleet of waste vehicles are very different from those of a hotel so the design and operation of the access were again under close scrutiny. Entran secured a positive recommendtion from the highway authority and advised on appropriate highways and transport planning conditions.
