Two permissions in one night

Earlier this week two separate planning applications were considered, one in Bath and one in Welwyn Garden City and both were approved on the same night.

Bath and North East Somerset Council approved a reserved matters application for Bath Quays North (Blocks 6 & 7) which will provide 96 new city centre dwellings. [Client: Aequus Group; Architect: Stride Treglown; Planning: PlanningSphere]

Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council resolved to grant full planning permission for the Wheat Quarter on the site of the former Shredded Wheat factory in Welwyn Garden City. The scheme will deliver 133 town houses, 141 later living apartments, 305 build-to-rent flats, a 180 room aparthotel as well as retail, leisure, cycle hub and new public realm.
