Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council resolved to grant full planning permission for the Wheat Quarter on the site of the former Shredded Wheat factory in Welwyn Garden City. The scheme will deliver 133 town houses, 141 later living apartments, 305 build-to-rent flats, a 180 room aparthotel as well as retail, leisure, cycle hub and new public realm.
