We are delighted that Clean Power received planning permission for another Energy Recovery Centre this afternoon; this time for their site in Eastleigh. Richard Fitter addressed the Committee to explain the transport implications of the proposals and then Hampshire County Council voted 12 to 2 in favour of development.

Business development needn't be an expensive business. Entran certainly doesn't have the budget for television advertising, but we are nothing if not innovative. If you look really, really closely you can see that one of our Transport Directors, Richard Fitter, managed to get the Entran logo onto national television, even if it was CBBC and the logo was on the bottom of a skateboard! Entran has been awarded a 'Worksafe Consultant Membership Certificate' by Safety Management Advisory Services Ltd. The certificate is recognised by Safety Schemes in Procurement and follows the CDM Regs: Core Criteria Stage 1 process, evaluating the designated elements of Health and Safety Management documentation.

Excellent news, Northamptonshire County Council granted planning permission this morning for Clean Power's proposed Energy Recovery Facility in Corby. The Council voted 8 to 1 in favour of the 10-15MWe ACT and AD facility. Entran produced a full EIA in support of the planning application, addressing a complete range of environmental and transport issues.
