Permission at Dawley House

At the end of August, Balsamy Properties Ltd and Alan Power Architects secured planning permission for the development of an 88 bedroom Apart-Hotel with associated restaurant and business space on the site of Dawley House in Ealing. Entran's Transport Statement and Travel Plan were discussed at length before LB Ealing made their unanimous positive decision.

IHE launches new motorcycling guidelines website

The Institute of Highway Engineers (IHE) has launched the revised motorcycling guidelines in a brand new multi-platform website. The award winning guidelines have been updated from the 2005 version and set out practical guidance for transportation professionals on providing a safer environment for motorcycles, mopeds and scooters. http://www.motorcycleguidelines.org.uk/

Permission for Aldi in Didcot

We are really pleased to be part of the team that secured another planning permission for Aldi, this time for their new store at The Broadway, Didcot which was approved by South Oxfordshire District Council last week. Excellent news.

Yet another consent for Clean Power

We are delighted that Clean Power received planning permission for another Energy Recovery Centre this afternoon; this time for their site in Eastleigh. Richard Fitter addressed the Committee to explain the transport implications of the proposals and then Hampshire County Council voted 12 to 2 in favour of development.

Alternative business development

Business development needn't be an expensive business. Entran certainly doesn't have the budget for television advertising, but we are nothing if not innovative. If you look really, really closely you can see that one of our Transport Directors, Richard Fitter, managed to get the Entran logo onto national television, even if it was CBBC and the logo was on the bottom of a skateboard!
