Ealing Council has granted planning permission for a nine-storey mixed-use development in Hanwell comprising the retention of Gold's Gym at ground and first floors plus 43 new flats above [215983FUL]. The client was Vivastar Leisure and Keith Horn Architects led the design team. A good result and a great scheme.

We have been working with the Amaravati Buddhist Monastery in Great Gaddesden for almost ten years now. We were therefore very pleased when Dacorum Borough Council granted planning permission for a new Sala last week. The Sala is key to the Monastery's daily activities and acts as the main meeting place for members of the public and the monastic community, and a place for receiving food and other offerings. Entran provided the Transport Statement and secured a new means of access to the public highway.

Swindon Borough Council has granted planning permission for a new cycling closed road circuit, BMX pump track, pavilion and 3G artificial grass pitch at Moredon Sports Ground. The new facilities will add to the existing croquet, football and cricket pitches. Entran assessed the transport effects and parking demand from first principles, based on a comprehensive analysis of concurrent and overlapping sporting events.

The most significant change is the 'hierarchy of road users' which means that drivers of of vehicles that can cause the greatest harm have the greatest responsibility to take care of more vulnberable road users.
