The role of Car Clubs in a sustainable future for transport

If you have ever been curious about how a Car Club works, this article on the BBC News page will probably answer your questions. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/Car Clubs. Each Car Club vehicle removes 18.5 cars from the roads, results in 26.5% less emissions than the average car, removes the need for many housholds to own a second car or any car at all, reduces social exclusion and saves members thousands of pounds each year compared to owning a car. Approved permitted development

We were pleased to hear that yesterday Reigate and Banstead Council approved  Montreaux's  prior approval application for permitted change of use from office to flats and retail use. We prepared a Traffic and Highways Impact Assessment to demonstrate that there would be no material change in traffic (in accordance with the wording of the GPDO), and the site would retain appropriate levels of car parking.

Permission for over 1000 new homes in Barnet

Congratulations to Montreaux! We are delighted that LB Barnet Strategic Planning Committee granted outline planning permission last night for over 1000 new homes, including 35% affordable, plus 1200sqm of commercial and community uses in Cricklewood. This excellent scheme will also deliver new and improved, high-quality public realm and will result in a material reduction in traffic in this very sustainable location. We were pleased to work with an excellent team including EPR Architects and Iceni Projects to secure a positive officer recommendation which led to last night’s approval.
