Thanks to construction managers Arc Bauen for the series of drone shots of the new Aldi under construction at Garras Wharf in Truro. The demolitions are complete and the groundworks are well under way. The new store is scheduled to open in March 2022. We are pleased to have worked with architects Kendall Kingscott and structural engineers Craddys to deliver this new store for Aldi, among many others in the south-west and Wales.

We thoroughly enjoy helping our clients achieve planning permission for their projects, but it is even more rewarding when those projects are delivered and thriving. In 2021, Aldi's Swindon and Cardiff regions have opened new stores in Caldicot, Chippenham, Exeter, Honiton, Malmesbury, Northampton, Poole, Swansea and Worle. The following stores are scheduled to open by the end of the year: Barnstaple, Blandford, Cheltenham, Milton Keynes, Neath, Trostre and Windsor. An excellent client with excellent planning and delivery teams.

We prepared a Traffic and Highways Impact Assessment to demonstrate that there would be no material change in traffic (in accordance with the wording of the GPDO), and the site would retain appropriate levels of car parking.
